Hukam means "Command" or "Order" in Urdu. In Teen Patti Hukam, one card is placed face-up in the center of the table — this is the Hukam card. All four cards of that same rank become wild cards (Jokers) for that round. Every player holding a card matching the Hukam rank can use it as any card they need.
Unlike Joker variant where the wild rank changes every round, in many Hukam versions the Hukam card stays the same throughout the session — giving the game a consistent strategic framework.
Before dealing begins, the dealer draws one card face-up and places it in the center. This card's rank becomes the Hukam for the round. For example, if 7♥ is drawn, all four 7s (7♠ 7♥ 7♦ 7♣) are now wild cards.
Any Hukam card in a player's hand can substitute for ANY other card — any rank, any suit — to form the best possible hand. If you hold K♠ Q♠ and a Hukam card, the Hukam becomes A♠ giving you A♠ K♠ Q♠ — a Pure Sequence.
In most Pakistani Hukam game versions, a new Hukam card is selected at the start of every fresh round. This keeps strategy evolving constantly — the same as Joker variant mechanics.
Standard Teen Patti hand rankings apply — Trail beats Pure Sequence beats Sequence beats Color beats Pair beats High Card. Wild cards just make strong hands more achievable.
The moment a round starts, look at the Hukam card. This is your most critical piece of information. It determines how many wild cards are in play and how that affects everyone's hand strength.
Check if you hold any Hukam-rank cards. Each one dramatically increases your hand potential:
With Hukam in play, strong hands are more common for everyone. A Color hand that wins consistently in Classic may lose in Hukam. Expect opponents to hold stronger hands on average — adjust your calling thresholds upward.

Hukam is a wild card variant where one randomly drawn card's rank becomes Joker for the round. All four cards of that rank are wild and can substitute for any other card.
Very similar. Both use one random rank as wild per round. Hukam typically uses a face-up center card to announce the wild rank, while Joker variant uses a drawn card.
4 wild cards per round — all four cards of the Hukam rank (one rank × 4 suits). Compare to AK47 which has 16 wild cards.
Three wild cards (three Hukam-rank cards) gives you a Trail of the best available rank — the strongest possible hand. Same as in any wild card variant.
Hukam requires additional thinking — you must track the wild rank and adjust hand value expectations. Intermediate difficulty, best for players who already know Classic well.
